I just purchased alcad hotmetal blue. It is a clear blue paint. I wanted to add more color than just the aluminum and black. Ill post the final product.

You can really tell my max shading technique. I shot this with a clear coat of future floor wax. Not as shiny but looking good.

After a long run. I like to down a recovery drink.

Well after my run, I quickly decided to do a little part of the Unicorn.
I might be going over board with the pin stripes.

Labor Day Brisket, beer brats, and unicorns...

Brisket had been in the oven for 5 hours, beer brats are almost ready and Ive been adding polished aluminum to my unicorn..



I added a protective coat of future floor wax to give the armor an extra shiny finish.


YOu cant really tell, but they have a "wet" look to them, because of the future. Most def...Now I eat some Beer Brats....


This took me about 2 days to complete on leg!!!!I still need to let the future dry and start reassemlbing it!!!

I was born a unicorn!!!

Howdy!!

Well in preperation for Labor Day, I have my super special schiner brats marinating. I also have a 10pd briksete that is also marinating over night, with "my" special blend of herbs and spices.

For a while now ive been wanting to repaint my Unicorn Gundam. The original color scheme of white is alright, but Im thinking of a polished aluminum look with black. This I have to say that the unicorn was "EXTREMELY" tedious to build. SOOOOO many little parts, and the worst part is that he is hardly poseable.
I used high gloss black for the base, and the actual skeleton.
After it dries I plan to go over it with polished aluminum, and have a ultra gloss coat.

The worst part is that the instructions are lost somewhere and I have to somehow remember to put this guy back together.

This project will take weeks to complete, for the simple fact that Im going to work on a section every weekend, and figure out how to put him back together.

After that long run, ate some spicy gumbo soup and sandwich at jd's
